I'm not 100% sure when the word gnarly entered my day to day vocabulary, but I'm loving it. Probably it's because I started hanging out with Mountain bikers, maybe it's because I'm living on the West Coast, I'm not sure. I just know gnarly is a word I now use on a nearly daily basis and is one of my favorite new adjectives. Gnarly, Gnarliness, Gnar...
Urban Dictionary says... Gnarly is when you've gone beyond radical, beyond extreme, it's balls out danger, & or perfection, & or skill or all of that combined.
I like it.
