Feelin' good. This weekend's course is not technical, which while not necessarily as fun to ride, is kind of nice for helping me get over my mental block of always falling at Fontana. To be honest, I can't even really say it's less fun, because it's super fun to just flow through all the turns and fly through the fast sections, not the same kind of fun is what I should say.
I had some good smooth runs today at practice and was feeling just as fast as the other pro women...Except Melissa Buhl and Rachel Atherton that is. That's right, racing against a national champ and arguably the fastest woman on the planet tomorrow. Yikes! they're kind of out of my league right now though so it doesn't make me nervous just excited to say I raced against them.
