Day 4 - Moab

Well, Moab is cool. Today was a bit of a roller coaster. Russell's knee was sore, and I was suffering from chronic indecision about what bike to ride on what trail so it didn't look too promising at the beginning of the day, but he toughed it out and I made the right decision in the end so it was all good. I'm tired so I am probably not going to write much. We rode Amasa Back trail and Pothole Arch trail. Very scenic. Challenging climb, super fast descent, little bit of awesome singletrack to get out to the Pothole Arch, slickrock like I've never seen before, couple of near death experiences and a little frustration at a poorly marked trail, then a little elation after finding said trail. Slickrock is sticky and fun to ride up, and also fun to ride downhill fast. I love being able to pick and choose my line along the rocks. Oh yeah, and I launched myself at slow speed off a 4 foot drop today on my Stumpjumper. Fun times. Glad I didn't die. I also rode the little bmx track on stumpy, not very well though. Pictures now. Then bed. Night night, see you for more adventures tomorrow Moab.

PS I love arches.
